A child’s family can have a huge impact on a child’s success in therapy as children are with their family 24/7, while they’re with their speech-language therapist for a few hours a week. Being immersed in a family’s home is the most natural way for children to learn fundamental skills and for parents to learn strategies to carryover these skills when their speech-language pathologist is not around. During the year, Phil meets and greets people at our local library.
